The teaser became the hero.
PLANE +1
PERSISTS
This is the plan's sentence made literal: the portfolio teaser on the home page becomes the portfolio hero. On the study page the mint block is a two-by-two teaser; here it is the hero, four columns by four rows, and if you arrived by the View Transitions API you watched it grow into place while the field, the claim, the signal, the ledge, the glass and the pop each travelled to their new posts. The sky did not come: it has no place on this page, so it sank as it left. A window opened — a block this page has and the study page did not — and it rose as it arrived.
Nothing here was re-rendered by a script during the transition. The browser took a picture of the old page, laid out this one, matched the names, and animated the difference. The readout above is read from the browser's own animations, one per block, and the timing is to the transition's finished promise. If it says you arrived by ordinary navigation, the page you came from did not opt in, or you reloaded — the plan's fallback, which is simply this page.
